Sarah von Bamberger
Painter, Drawer
Sarah studied Art at Edith Cowan University. She is a conservationist, greatly concerned for the environment, and particularly the pollution of our world’s waterways. This is expressed in much of her artwork.
Sarah works primarily in water colours. Her favourite subjects are fish and reptiles. In addition to highly realistic depictions of plants and animals, she also creates surreal futurist scenes where biomechanical fish have come to replace the living, in polluted rivers and oceans.
Most of her pieces are extremely intricate and highly detailed and her large array of work is full of surprises and hidden secrets.
