Lee is an exciting artist who draws inspiration from the alchemy of turning clay into stone and crystalline materials into glaze. He is an active ceramics technician and teacher at North Metropolitan Tafe and admires how working with clay can revitalise the mindset from the mundane.
Lee fires his pieces in his handmade kiln that he fires with wood for up to 100 hours which provides natural variations in the colour and texture of the form and a touch that one can truly feel.
