Although Kat Hardwick was born in Alice Springs, Central Australia, she grew up in the French Pacific. When she finally settled in Western Australia, she fell absolutely in love with its incredible beauty; particularly the arid landscape of the Pilbara.

Throughout the last 20 years, Kat has worked on her art practice, attending formal classes, experimenting with various mediums, whilst also raising a family and teaching Pilates.

Kat’s love for the West Australian landscape is evident in her work. She strives to convey the sense of inner peace and spiritual connection to the land that her art brings her.
