Fiona Faulkner

Potter

Pots are the result of the spontaneous, joyful acts of a potter’s hands, that the user then cradles in their own hands.

“There is something special and unique about a piece of pottery that you use every day. A good pot celebrates the rituals of daily life and needs to invite your hands and lips to it. Domestic pottery defines the spaces we live in.”

Fiona enjoys exploring the interplay between function, form and surface in thrown forms, whilst constantly seeking to refine and evolve. She is particularly concerned with drinking vessels.
